Simple Ways to Recover from Workout Muscle Injury

Sometimes you feel soreness in the msucles after workout. That is because of muscle injuries. However you should not be afraid of workouts because of such injuries. There are some very simple ways to recover from these injuries.

EPSOM SALT BATH

Epsom salt, when absorbed through the skin does wonders for the body.It is great for drawing out toxins from your body. It also reduces swelling and relaxes muscles. Add two cupfuls of epsom salt to your hot bath. Soak it for around 20 minutes. If you want you can use aromatherapy epsom salt for extra soothing effect.

MASSAGE

Get a sports massage or deep tissue massage to recover your muscles. A good massage helps get out the toxins from your body and increases circulation. Massage also helps reduce tension and benefit the cardiovascular system.

DRINK ENOUGH WATER

Drinking a lot of water and keeping yourself hydrated helps in muscle recovery. It replenishes the body’s store of glycogen. Glycogen helps better performance.

LIGHT CARDIO

The light cardio that does not get your pulse or heart rate high but just moves your muscles is in fact good for muscle recovery. It can be a short walk too. The blood circulation ensures supply of nutrients to each and every part of the body and it helps in recovery. Also it will help get rid of the lactic acid.
